The Dum Dum Girls Concert

The Dum Dum Girls are set to perform at the Empty Bottles Club in downtown Chicago on April 17th. This successful rock n roll group began in 2008 as a small bedroom recording scheme hosted by lead singer and songwriter DeeDee Penny. The rock stars have been quoted saying that this is the show to watch out for, as it will be both fun and engaging. Penny has also promised her Chicago fans a vocal rendition of Chrissie Hynde, the frontwoman in blockbuster sensation ‘The Pretenders.’ The Dum Dum Girls are a quartet that mixes doo-wop, garage and girl-sound effects to a unique charming effect and killer style. Come to the concert prepared to have the time of your life.

Russian Circles Show

Russian Circles consists of a 3-piece instrumental rock orchestra from Chicago, Illinois. They are planning a massive live show in their home town for their home-based fans on the 16th of this month. The group is set to take over the stage with a musical arsenal of loop pedals, fog instruments and up-lights that will transform the event into a classic disco theatre. Since their official debut in 2004, the Russian Circles have managed to climb up the ranks of success to become one of the most popular rock bands from Chicago in recent years. Though they mainly focus on instrumentals, their music is unique in that it combines heavy dissonant metal with soft subtle passages. Concert attendees will get that once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to become part of the Russian Circles movement.

Kings of Leon Rock Concert

The Kings of Leon are a Tennessee-based rock band formed in the year 1999 by brothers Anthony Followill (lead vocalist), Michael Jared, Ivan Nathan, and Anthony’s cousin Cameron Followill. They are expected to set the United Center on fire with their alternative rock music that blends southern rock with subtle blues influences. Once considered the final tribute of the alternative rock genre, this successful team of photogenic guitarists has since evolved to become the only arena-packing rock stars in their genre of music. Their concert tickets on sale online or at the United Center. Whether you’re into rock, instrumental, alternative rock, or blues, these bands offer something for everyone. Be sure to check them out when you are in Chicago.
